Some things stay with us for a reason.
A favorite card. Something brought home from a memorable trip. A piece someone chose to keep that another person will one day find. We exist to help those objects reach their next keeper.
I.
Kept
Care, memory and ownership. Every object arrives with the attention its last owner gave it, and we try to honor that in how we handle and describe it.
II.
Rare
Discovery and distinction. Rarity is a claim about a particular item, so we make it only when we can show it, never as decoration.
Thoughtful presentation, useful information.
01 · Care. We handle objects and their histories with attention. Good presentation starts with the real thing, photographed whole and described as it is.
02 · Clarity. Precise descriptions, useful photographs, and plain information about bidding, payment and pickup. No inflated language.
How we describe things
Identify before comparing
Pin down what an object is as precisely as the evidence allows before looking at what similar things sold for.
Name the kind of claim
Observed, documented, attributed or believed. All can be honest; they just aren't the same.
Photos are a beginning
They help understanding. They don't establish authenticity, grade or metal purity.
Keep uncertainty visible
Where evidence is thin, the description says so instead of filling the gap.
Have something that deserves a new keeper?
Or just a question? We'd be glad to hear from you.
